WHERE CAN I SEE YOUR PRICE LIST?

General pricing is outlined in my Welcome Packet, which is sent via email. As each event is unique, pricing is a baseline, and we can create a custom package that fits your needs during our in-person meeting. Please get in touch to set up an initial meeting. I’ll respond in 24-48 hours.

WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING PROCESS?

Prior to booking, I set up a 30-60 minute meeting with all potential clients in a casual setting (coffee, cocktails, or via Skype for those not in the area), to discuss the details of your event. It is important for me to understand your needs and ideas for your wedding, as well as to ensure I’m the right fit for you. During this meeting, I get the opportunity to learn about how you met, who you are as a couple, and what’s important to capture in images from your wedding. Wedding dates are officially booked upon completion of a contract and 50% deposit. All contracts are signed electronically, and payment is accepted via check, Square or cash and is non-refundable.

WHEN WILL WE SEE OUR PHOTOS?

A preview of some of the greatest 25 images from your wedding will go live within two weeks. Complete galleries are delivered within four weeks. Couples opting for a photo booth will receive a full photo booth gallery within 48 hours.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

Typically a full wedding yields 400-600 photos. Estimate 40-50 images per hour of shooting.

HOW IS THE FINAL COLLECTION DELIVERED?

An online gallery where you can view, download, share and order prints will be delivered within four weeks of your event. You will also receive a thumb drive within six weeks of your event, with a release for full printing rights up to 8" x 12".

WILL THE FINAL COLLECTION BE FULLY EDITED?

Yes, every photo is hand edited to the extent you see on this site.

DO WE HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?

You may order prints easily through the online gallery. In addition, every wedding package comes with a printing release, allowing you to print images up to 8” x 12”. Anything larger  in size is considered a fine art print and must be ordered directly through me in order to ensure best printing quality.

DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS?

Yes! Albums of all sizes are available and can be ordered after your wedding or as part of your wedding package.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH GAY WEDDINGS?

Absolutely! I have experience in a range of events and am  honored to capture any celebration of love.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?

For weddings outside of Portland, Ore., I charge for travel and accommodation, but not travel time. My fee covers two nights’ stay + gas, car rental or airfare. All travel costs will all be included in the quote, with no hidden or unexpected fees later.

DO YOU SHOOT FORMAL GROUP PHOTOS?

Weddings are one of the rare times that most, if not all, of a family is able to get together. Documenting this event serves as one of the greatest memories to look back on in the years to come. In order to ensure that family photos are both painless to take and capture your needs, I work with each couple in advance to create a master list of all family member combinations you’d like to have shots of. Typically, we find a scenic background to collect everyone after the ceremony, and we’ll shuffle through the group photos quickly and often with a lot of laughs. I’ll have my assistant or another volunteer bring snacks and drinks over to keep the mood light and fun. My top priority is to document your family and get you back to your party as quickly as possible.

DO YOU SHOOT ELOPEMENTS?

Of course. I love the laid-back, intimate feel of elopements!

WHAT ABOUT ENGAGEMENTS?

Yes, and I am happy to work an engagement session into your wedding package. While engagement photos aren't something every couple chooses to do, I find these sessions to be a wonderful way for us to get comfortable with each other and for you as a couple to get used to the camera. Rather than stiffly posed photos, I prefer sessions that highlight typical activities you do together, and I am always up for adding a touch of humor. I promise that engagement photos will be fun and won't feel forced. Plus, each engagement session comes with custom designed "Save the Date" cards, which means one less pre-wedding “to do”!

WHAT IF YOU BECOME ILL?

Unless I fall off a cliff, I WILL be there. In the rare event (that has yet to happen) that something extreme prevents me from shooting your wedding, I will do everything in my power to find you a suitable replacement. (I also promise to avoid cliffs in the few weeks leading up to your wedding.)

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS FULL-TIME?

While I am a photographer full-time, I limit the number of weddings I book each year in order to ensure couples receive my full attention and time. On average, I shoot 5-10 weddings per year in addition to my other photography projects. Limiting the weddings I accept allows me to work at my full potential while ensuring that I am the perfect fit for each couple.

ARE YOUR PRICES FLEXIBLE?

I will do everything in my power to work with each couple to create a custom package that will fit both your needs and your budget however. There are many variables that we will discuss at our in-person meeting in order to guarantee you get the coverage you desire at a price you can afford.
