A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Nikki & Chris's wedding. I knew from the start that this was going to be an amazing wedding. I have attended several of Nikki's Halloween parties. She goes all out with decorations, drinks, atmosphere, and of course her costumes are hands down some of the best I have ever seen. In fact, it was at her Halloween party last year that Chris proposed to his bride to be, (fake) rotting teeth and all!
Their wedding had that same attention to detail that all of Nikki's parties do. First lets talk about the amazing use of color. I am pretty sure Nikki's dress had every color of the rainbow in it. The bridesmaid dresses were all their own unique hand crafted originals from a local designer, and all the groomsmen had different colored ties. Often the finished images from a wedding are half black & white and half color, but there was no way I was going to do that with such a colorful wedding!
My second favorite thing was the use of succulents for Nikki's bouquet, hair piece, cake decorations, and as the backdrop for the alter. Honestly, there were so many amazing details I could go on and on about so I will just let the photos speak for themselves instead. Oh and the horse head the couple brought for the photo booth was a huge hit!
